23rd October 2016, a benign, mainly dry October, but on harvest day an overhead mist lasted till noon, making cold, drippy work of the early picking. Beautiful grapes though and it was sunny, if none too warm, in the end. We retreated to the cosy farmhouse for the harvest meal. Thanks a million to our longstanding team of experienced pickers, with a warm welcome to a few new faces. Now its over to Steve and his team at the winery....
