Jun 2019 TripAdv: Must Visit. At the end of a single track lane, just off the A39 near Cannington, a beautiful small vineyard. Iain and Jane made us welcome even though we turned up unannounced. The business is a relaxed passion and way of life for them. Tried two delicious but different white wines, as good if not better than other English wines we buy. We sat outside and chatted about how the vineyard came about and its many awards, also learning more about the evolution of winemaking. An hour went like a flash, two great hosts. They have people who picnic in the vineyard and also wedding/hen parties etc. We bought a case as the wine is that good. You must visit. EnigmaNimrod.

May 2018 TripAdv:..After negotiating the short country lane leading to the farmhouse, we arrived. A beautiful sunny day made our visit all the better. Jane, one of the owners (with her husband Iain) greeted us warmly and we sat under the canopy and chatted easily. We tried 2 of the crisp white wines, whilst Jane explained about the grape varieties and the history of the vineyard. As it was a perfect day, Jane suggested we go for a short walk and look at the vines, whilst she explained more about growing & harvesting. Returning to the canopy, where we tasted the remaining 2 wines produced by the vineyard. All were crisp and refreshing with good depths of flavour. The vineyard is a great place for a picnic - there is a dedicated area for this with tables & chairs, or just bring a blanket & sit on the grass!... - PrincessPentium
